The Township of Centre Wellington is the largest municipality in Wellington County and one of the fastest growing communities in Ontario with about 26,000 residents. Centre Wellington was formed through the amalgamation of the Town of Fergus, Village of Elora, and parts of Nichol, Pilkington, West Garafraxa and Eramosa Townships.
